Coloring White Chocolate

Elite Colors are activated food colors that are also fat soluble, unlike Master Elites. They are PERFECT for coloring chocolate! Keep in mind, however, it will take much more powder to achieve desired tones ... so choose the darkest colors from our collections, so your jar will last as long as possible!

We recommend using Elite Colors for chocolate on small chocolate projects, not needing to color more than 6 oz of white chocolate.

Here are the BEST DUSTS FOR COLORING CHOCOLATE!

Coloring dark/milk chocolate will be very, very difficult with any colorants - as you have to use a lot to overcome the natural deep brown color in chocolate. It is best to dry dust with Sterling Pearls for dark / milk chocolate pieces!

Check out our edible glitter covered strawberries demonstrations below, too! You will want to use our 100% edible glitter to achieve the gorgeous shine! Or try dusting our best selling edible luster dust for some shimmer!

See demonstrations below:

When covering edible glitter chocolate covered strawberries, simply dip the entire strawberry into your chocolate - shake it out and allow the chocolate to begin "setting up." Before it is fully dry, simply sprinkle the edible glitter on your chocolate covered strawberries! You can either use a little or a lot, depending on the final look you're trying to achieve.  Edible Luster Dust For Chocolates:

Adding luster dust is different than edible glitter, as it gives the chocolate piece a more "shimmer / satin finish, as opposed to a very sparkle finish.  To apply the luster dust, allow the chocolate to completely dry before dry dusting! Let it set for 1-hour to ensure the entire chocolate piece can accept the dry dusting application of edible luster dust. You will LOVE the satin finish!
