CREATING EDIBLE PAINT
Products Used Are Linked At The End: Color Solution, Painting Powders and Paint Brush Set!
Making amazing edible paint is a CINCH with our Color Solution (product here)! It is an alcohol-based product with gums inside of it to help LOCK IN THAT COLOR! Unlike Everclear or other spirits, making edible paint can often flake off ... but not with The Color Solution! Ed formulated this product for 9 months, working hard to ensure it will not rub off of your confections once mixed with our Painting Powders (click here) or Edible Luster Dust (click here)!
The paint's consistency is KEY! You will need a consistency that mimics acrylic paint. This consistency will be not too thick, but not to thin either. Look for some movement in your edible paint and ensure it can be easily spread on top of your royal icing cookie through practice. This will give you the absolute BEST results when creating edible paint for cookies, chocolate treats and cakes!
